Meet Our Designers

Anne Pennington

Hi, I'm Annie or Anne.  I'm a mother of 5 children ranging in age from 13 to 29, and I am a grandmother of a boy 4 years old, and a girl 6. Four of my children are daughters, our one son is second last in line.
 
I work as a publisher, and manage an awesome team of graphic designers and editors. We have a blast.
 
I love taking photos with my Nikon D300.  I had been dreaming of one, so my husband and I bought it for my 50th birthday.  Made turning 50 a lot less painful! Took both of our income tax returns last year to pay for it, but I have never regreted it. I look forward to improving my skills over the years to come.
 
Other interests are canoeing, cycling, walking, and I love a party.  Favourite music is rock, but I like most other genres - excepting country.  Don't play the Beach Boys when I am around either! My favourite band is any one that my husband is in.  When we go out, we go out to listen to live music. I also really enjoy being online, keeping in touch with family and friends, learning stuff, joining discussion forums and just surfing. 
 
In my spare time (ha ha, I'll bet none of you know what that is either) I am working on a degree - part time of course.
 
Best thing to have in life is a sense of humour!
