when scrapping, i always reach for: my sewing machine and my brown ink cube

if i was a color i'd be: chartreuse (it goes surprisingly well with almost everything)

if i couldn't scrap i'd: quilt. They are remarkably similar art forms. One involves designing with paper, the other with fabric. I even use a lot of the same tools!

biggest inspiration: my four kids. They fascinate me with the way they keep growing and changing, and the crazy/amazing things they say and do.

i'd like to tell you about: my crazy out-of-hand stash of scrapbooking supplies! i can’t stop buying them! i’d rather spend my money on supplies than clothes or movies or vacations! i get such a happy feeling from looking at them and imagining the layouts i’ll create with them.

scrapping treat: Miss Vickies’ Sea Salt & Malt Vinegar chips, brandy-filled chocolates, port wine

i'm listening to: Grey’s Anatomy soundtrack 1 & 2

occupation: Grade 2/3 teacher

my perfect day would be: sleeping in, going out for breakfast, scrapbooking/quilting/reading all day, going out for dinner, scrapbooking/quilting/reading all night

i scrap: my family, my friends, my house, my garden, my quilts (basically everything!)

where i scrap: my 5’ x 8’ scrapbooking/quilting room

when describing my style to others: i like clean lines, detailed journaling, lots of photos, minimal embellishments, lots of white space, lots of patterned paper combinations

biggest challenge: knowing when to stop obsessing and just glue it all down!
