your theme song: 18 Til I Die (Bryan Adams)
when scrapping, i always reach for: (sadly) my glasses.
if i was a color i'd be: I would like to say green (because that’s my current fave) but my daughter thinks I would be beige. I asked her why and she said it’s because I’m a mom .. calm and soothing .. kind of like white but with a little more color.
if i couldn't scrap i'd: likely be working on some other sort of craft .. maybe sewing, or beading, or painting. I also have a passion for interior design so perhaps I’d be shopping and redecorating a whole lot more.
biggest inspiration: would have to be my three daughters because I want so much to preserve the details of their lives.
i'd like to tell you about: again .. my daughters. Every mom is especially proud of her children and I’m certainly no different. They are growing so fast and making me so very proud in their choices and decisions. They make me feel like I must have done something right in raising them, and that’s a terrific feeling.
scrapping treat: Something small (preferably chocolate) that I can pop into my mouth without messing up my fingers.
i'm listening to: When I’m scrapping I prefer easy listening such as Norah Jones, Jack Johnson or maybe David Grey. At any other time, pretty much anything goes
occupation: Full time wife, mom and friend
my perfect day would be: filled with sunshine and a bright blue sky, spent at the beach with my family, and enjoying a delicious picnic lunch. Follow that up with a lovely home-cooked dinner enjoyed al fresco, a bottle of wine shared with my husband, and the knowledge that tomorrow will be a duplicate of today. (Oh, and someone else to do the dishes).
i scrap: moments more than events ... predominantly 12x12
where i scrap: I have a studio which I’ve painted a wonderful and lively shade of green, and which seems to become more cluttered with each passing day.
when describing my style to others: I’d say I’m a “work-in-progress”. How I create and what I admire are still very far apart.
biggest challenge: Finding just the right photo that ‘shows’ the story I want to ‘tell’
