Hi! I am so thrilled to have this opportunity and really look forward to my time as Guest Designer. I’ve been scrapping for about 10 years, although it took some time for me to figure out there were actual supplies involved. Once I discovered the possibilities, I was well and truly hooked. More often than not my girls are my subjects. They, unlike my husband, tolerate their paparazzi mom for at least one or two decent shots before everything dissolves to giggles. As much as he may not appreciate having the camera pointed at him, he surprised me with a Nikon D60 for my birthday this year. I am still getting to know my new toy, but I do love to play with it.
Apart from my interest in scrapping, I have been an at-home mom for the last 15 ½ years. For the last 3 years, I’ve been back at school part-time pursuing my interest in history. My love of history also explains my interest in genealogy, which will hopefully result in some heritage layouts. Where this stint in school is heading I don’t know, but, despite the tests, projects and papers, I am having fun.
