your theme song: remember that one..."I don't wanna work, I just wanna bang on the drum all day!" I've been known to belt that out from time to time...

when scrapping, i always reach for: Ink, either for stamping or
distressing.

if i was a color i'd be: a deep chocolate brown, love the richness that it brings and the neat combinations possible with this colour as a base. Plus it's the colour of, well, chocolate!

if i couldn't scrap i'd: probably still shop for scrapping stuff. Can't beat some good scrappy shopping!

biggest inspiration: knowing that there are stories that are unique to our family and need to be preserved. I love "capturing" a special moment and telling a good story.

i'd like to tell you about: my family. I married a great man in 1995 and we have four terrific kids: Noah, Olivia, Sophie and Georgia. This is not how I pictured my life and it has turned out so much better than I could have imagined. I am thrilled to spend my life with them!

scrapping treat: a tall glass of Coke with lots of ice!

i'm listening to: kid sounds. This ranges from television, to
giggling, to fighting. This is not a quiet house!

occupation: I am a wife, stay-at-home-homeschooling mother of four, and a (very) part-time music teacher

my perfect day would: start with a great cup of coffee, a slow
breakfast with my family, a nice breeze blowing through the window, hanging out for a bit, and lots of time to scrap. I have to say that I like the wee quiet hours after everyone is all tucked in, then I feel like I have the mental space to create.

i scrap: the things that matter to me. I really enjoy scrapping challenges to take me further and stretch me creatively.

where i scrap: in the living room on the piano bench. We're
currently remodeling our basement and I'm planning a scrapping area in our family room.

when describing my style to others: my style is definitely still evolving. I usually like to distress things a bit but I'm drawn to white space and a bit of whimsy. I'm big on journaling, for sure!

biggest challenge: organization! I waste a lot of time looking for something I "know" I have...somewhere!
