Chandelier Card: Step-by-step project by JeanetteScraptivity

Created with the November 2009 Scraptivity monthly kit by Jeanette Smith.

I find there are often questions about card making, so here is a little tutorial on embossing.

I find with clear stamps, it’s good to first put Versamark on them, then whatever colored ink is desired. It makes the ink stick better.

Stamp with black Versafine pigment ink (pigment inks take longer to dry, so you can heat emboss them).

Pour black disco Stampendous powder on top, tap off excess and heat set. Keep gun moving from side to side, starting at the bottom of the image.

Run white paper through Cuttlebug with flowered template. Ink edges with black. Cut patterned paper ½” smaller than white. Turn down corner. Affix ribbon, then pop dot oval on top. Affix to black and yellow Core’dinations paper (that has been sanded to reveal yellow).
